Question 1

What size asset label should I get?

Accepted Answer

Choose based on lines of text: 36×16 mm for 1–2 lines (no logo), 38×20 mm for 2–3 lines or logo + 1–2 lines, 50×25 mm for 3–4 lines or logo + 2–3 lines. All labels are die-cut, weeded and supplied on rolls.

Question 2

What asset label material should I use?

Accepted Answer

Anodised aluminium for harsh indoor/outdoor and industrial environments; silver mylar or white polypropylene for indoor/sheltered use; over-laminated mylar or polypropylene for laptops, tablets and power tools where wear and cleaning are frequent.

Question 3

How do I prepare the surface for adhesion?

Accepted Answer

Clean the area so it is free from oil and dust, then press the label on firmly. Maximum adhesive strength develops over 48 hours. Avoid residual cleaner on your fingers — wash and dry your hands thoroughly before applying.

Question 4

How long before my asset label sticks firmly?

Accepted Answer

Minimum 24 hours for true adhesion to begin. Don't try to peel a freshly-applied label — the adhesive hasn't set. Over longer periods the label becomes increasingly difficult to remove.

Question 5

Can I get free asset label samples?

Accepted Answer

Yes. AssetLabel.au supplies free samples of all materials. Request via the contact page with your details.

Question 6

How long does delivery take?

Accepted Answer

99% of AssetLabel.au orders are shipped within 10 business days of artwork and payment confirmation. Urgent jobs can be expedited on request.

Accepted Answer

Question 8

Question 9

How do I pay for my asset labels?
